Patrushev is confident that Ukraine is behind the terrorist attack in the Moscow region – Kommersant

Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev called Ukraine the organizer of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow. He told reporters about this before a meeting of the board of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Of course, Ukraine,” said Mr. Patrushev, answering the question whether ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) or Ukraine were behind the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
On March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with intelligence services, said that the terrorist attack was carried out by Islamists. However, he emphasized that Russia is interested in who ordered the attack. In turn, White House spokesman John Kirby statedthat Ukraine is not involved in the terrorist attack, and responsibility lies with ISIS (“Islamic State”; a terrorist organization banned in Russia).
