If a person with a lot of money does not want to help another, then this is the way to hell, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia said in a sermon after Sunday Liturgy in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, his words leads TASS. “God forbid that our rich people, who were born in an Orthodox country, many of whom are somehow connected with the church, always remember that the justification for wealth here on earth is expressed in the fact that people stop envying you, people stop seeing you. enemy, but also “in the future age” this wealth can turn into good if it serves the good of other people here. According to him, if a person “out of a large amount of money cannot help another, this is the path to hell, and there is nothing to talk about.”

“If a rich person does not see the sorrow of another and does not help, this is clearly a way away from God, from Christ and his kingdom,” the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church emphasized.
