Patriarch Kirill warned of a potential threat due to the massive arrival in Russia of migrants of other cultural traditions.
At the weekly diocesan meeting in Moscow, the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church noted that the topic of migration to Russia of people of other cultural traditions is increasingly acquiring an alarming sound and worries many of our compatriots.
According to him, the appearance in a significant number of carriers of other customs can seriously change the life of the Russian people. He admitted that this could threaten the preservation of the spiritual foundations and traditions of Russians, as was the case in Kosovo.
The patriarch also noted that an excess of unskilled migrants brings with it an increase in crime and conflicts, both on domestic and national and religious grounds.
