Patriarch Kirill awarded Rogozin the badge of a temple builder

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior awarded the former head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin with the patriarchal badge of a temple builder. The award was presented for assistance in the reconstruction of the Cathedral of the Spaso-Borodino convent, which is located in Borodino.

“In consideration of the assistance in the reconstruction of the Vladimir Cathedral of the Spaso-Borodino Convent, Rogozin Dmitry Olegovich was awarded the Patriarchal Badge of a Temple Builder,” according to site ROC.

The monastery was founded in 1839 on the Borodino field. It was founded by Margarita Tuchkova, the widow of Alexander Tuchkov, who died in the Battle of Borodino during the Patriotic War of 1812.

AT interview Alexei Venediktov (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent) in 2021, Dmitry Rogozin said that he plans to spend most of the money earned in three years at Roscosmos on the restoration of this monastery.
