Pashinyan: “there are questions about the positions of Russia and the CSTO”

The head of the Armenian government, Nikol Pashinyan, said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that he has a number of questions for Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the positions of Moscow and the CSTO related to regional security. At the same time, he emphasized that the authorities of the Russian Federation and Armenia continue dialogue in order to “better understand each other.”
“My colleagues and I had a reason to ask these questions. But we are in favor of continuing the dialogue, because it is very important that we and Russia understand each other better and more correctly,” Pashinyan explained.
Let us recall that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian peacekeepers were conscientiously fulfilling their obligations in Karabakh and that Russia was using all the necessary mechanisms for humanitarian support in the region.
