Pashinyan: Armenia is not going to “turn away” from Russia
According to The Telegraph, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a conversation with British journalists, said that Yerevan is not going to turn its back on Moscow, but it also cannot call itself an ally on the Northeast Military District issue.
“Armenia is still interested in Russia as a partner in the defense sector... But we are also interested in diversification... Therefore, the search for new partners in the security sector is not directed against the Russian Federation,” he emphasized.
Pashinyan added that Armenia does not seek to become part of the North Atlantic Alliance, but also does not plan to become an ally of Russia within the framework of a special military operation.
