Pashinyan called the crisis in the Lachin corridor the main issue in the negotiations with Putin

Putin, Pashinyan and Aliyev discussed the settlement of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh during a trilateral conversation at an informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg. This became known today, December 27, from a conversation between the President of Russia and the Armenian Prime Minister. According to Putin, communication about the conflict in Karabakh between him, Pashinyan and Aliyev took place the day before, on December 26.

The head of the Russian Federation called the settlement of the situation in the disputed region the main issue, as well as the preservation of peace in the South Caucasus as a whole.

Pashinyan thanked Putin for the opportunity to discuss the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian prime minister paid special attention to the situation in the Lachin corridor. Pashinyan called this moment the most important and operational issue in the negotiations on Karabakh.

Recall that on December 26-27 an informal summit of the CIS countries is being held in St. Petersburg.
