Pashinyan announced the death of 49 people in night clashes with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a speech in the parliament of the republic that 49 Armenian soldiers were killed as a result of night battles with Azerbaijan.
He noted that this is not the final figure, now the Ministry of Defense of Armenia is specifying the number of dead.
According to Pashinyan, now the intensity of the fighting has subsided, but “the attack of the Azerbaijani side” continues in one or two directions.
The head of the Armenian government also said that since midnight, the Azerbaijani military launched an offensive in six or seven directions, explaining this as “a response to alleged provocations from Armenia.” Pashinyan called it “absolutely false information.”
Baku previously announced “large-scale provocations of the Armenian armed forces in the areas of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border”, after which measures were taken to “prevent military threats to the territory and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.”
