Acting head of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) Leonid Pasechnik at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the armed forces of Ukraine began to fire less on the territory of the region. The number of strikes on military targets has been especially reduced.
“The enemy began shelling the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic much less frequently. For some reason, HIMARS are used less frequently, and if earlier they were used against facilities where military personnel and weapons depots were located, now more chaotic strikes are inflicted on the civilian population, ”— told Mr Pasechnik.
According to the acting head of the LPR, the only purpose of the Ukrainian armed forces’ strikes on the territory of the republic is “an attempt to destabilize the situation” in the region.
Vladimir Putin, commenting on the reduction in the number of shelling of the LPR by Ukraine, said that “they are not up to it now.”
Earlier today, April 6, Vladimir Putin declaredthat the suppression and prevention of artillery shelling of Donbass is a task for all Russian military formations involved in the military operation in Ukraine.
