Participants of the “Night Bike Fest” in sombreros and skullcaps will pass through Kazan

A night bike festival will be held in Kazan from July 1 to July 2. You can register for the event until 22:00 on July 1, said Daria Sannikova, head of the Kazan City Committee for Tourism Development.
The cycling festival will be dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the World Summer Universiade in Kazan. Participants are invited to drive through the historical part of the capital of Tatarstan and beyond the river. The route starts at 22:00 from the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The gathering of participants is scheduled at 20:00 in the parking lot of the university.
Three stops are planned on the route – at the Koltso shopping center, at Yarmarochnaya Square and at Chasha. At the last stop, athletes will be able to relax and refresh themselves: food courts will be organized here.
The participants will finish near the extreme park “Uram”. In total, they will travel 17 kilometers. The journey will take about 2.5 hours. During the bike ride, the participants will be told about the Universiade.
The dress code of the cycling festival is the ethnic style of the last Universiade. Participants are advised to prepare sombreros, skullcaps and kokoshniks.
Special guests of the event will be the stars of the Universiade-2013 Yana Martynova and Nafis Minnebaev.
