The Central American Parliament (PARLACEN) will prevent European countries from condemning Russia in the context of the crisis in Ukraine. About it stated Chairman of the Parliament Amado Cerrudo Acevedo at a meeting with State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin within the framework of the First International Parliamentary Conference “Russia – Latin America”.
Acevedo stressed that, despite the fact that PARLACEN became an observer in the Eurolat (Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly) recently, he intends to use this opportunity.
“We emphasize that we will not allow this geopolitical space to be used in a way that will impede the achievement of certain honest goals,” Acevedo said.
