How informs newspaper Le Figaro, a diplomatic source in Paris, announced the dissatisfaction of the French authorities with the results of the visit of Acting First Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to the “rebellious” Niger.
Recall that Washington advocated a peaceful settlement of the situation around the coup d’état in Niger, while Paris supported the preparation of a military operation in this country.
“In this situation, the authority of France is at stake … The US authorities have done exactly the opposite of what was expected of them … With such allies, we do not need enemies,” the source said.
