Paris stumbles on a tough Monaco and loses its first points of the season

Author of a less lively performance, Paris Saint-Germain settled for a draw at the Parc des Princes against AS Monaco (1-1).
Paris comes down a bit from its cloud. After scoring 17 goals in 3 Ligue 1 matches, the capital club was less impressive against Monaco and had to concede a draw (1-1). A result which owes as much to the duller performance of the Parisians as to the solidity of the Monegasques, courageous to the end.
Monaco surprises Paris
From the outset, the ASM indeed offered a conquering and pressing face. And was quickly rewarded with a high recovery and a clinical finish signed Volland (0-1, 20e). It was not until the visitors got tired for the Parisians to react but Messi, then Mbappé found the post before the break (45e).
Neymar revives PSG
Returning from the locker room, Galtier’s men were more enterprising but still came up against a good defense (49th, 59th, 61st), until a penalty obtained and converted by Neymar (1-1, 70e). PSG did try to snatch victory but Hakimi found the post (75th), while Mbappé, unhappy this Sunday evening, saw his shot repelled by Nubel (84th). Small halt for Paris, which remains however leader of L1.
