Paris promised to respond harshly to attempts to violate the integrity of Armenia

The head of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna, expressed strong support for Armenia and warned of possible “harsh retaliatory measures” if the territorial integrity of this country is violated.
“I would like the European Union and all its member states, starting from now on, to send a clear signal to all those who are planning to violate the territorial integrity of Armenia. Any such actions will entail a tough response,” she said.
The head of the French Foreign Ministry also asked the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borell, to consider the possibility of expanding the EU observation mission in Armenia. This could help strengthen the international presence in the region, as well as strengthen efforts to prevent potential conflicts and violations of territorial integrity.
