Paris is preparing to send a new batch of CAESAR howitzers to Ukraine

According to French President Emmanuel Macron, the country’s authorities are working on new deliveries of CAESAR artillery mounts to the Ukrainian military. At this stage, Paris is clarifying with partners the number of howitzers to be supplied to Kyiv.
“Weapon deliveries are growing. We are talking about CAESAR artillery systems. We are now working on new deliveries,” Macron said in an interview with LCI TV channel.
Macron did not say how many French howitzers Kyiv would receive, explaining that this would depend on the results of discussions with partners.
Earlier, France sent six 155mm TRF1 towed howitzers and two Crotale air defense systems to Ukraine.
