Socialite Paris Hilton, who recently became a mother, revealed the secret of her son’s name. According to the 42-year-old heroine of secular chronicles, she encrypted the secret meaning in the name of the heir.
The boy, who was born thanks to the surrogacy service, was named Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. Hilton and Reum is a double surname derived from mother and father – the husband of Paris, entrepreneur Carter Reum. The first name – Phoenix – makes a reference to mythology. As the star recalled on her This Is Paris podcast, the phoenix always rises from the ashes, and she wants her son to know the inevitability of ups and downs in life and never lose hope.
The kid received his second name in honor of his great-grandfather Barron Hilton, a billionaire who developed the Hilton hotel chain created by his father Conrad Hilton to an empire. In 2019, the tycoon died at the age of 91, leaving almost nothing to his heirs – he donated almost all of his fortune to charity. However, Paris Hilton, apparently, is not mad at her grandfather.
“He was always my mentor and I always respected him and we were very close and now I miss him every day,” Paris said.
