The Russian Football Union on its official resources has published the composition of the participants and groups of the first RPL Path of the Russian Cup season 2023-2024. The Russian Cup in the 2023-2024 season will be held in the same format as a year ago. There will be a division of teams into two groups: the RPL Path and the Regions Path. The winners of each of the tournaments will advance to the Superfinal of the Russian Cup, where they will compete for the trophy.
FC “Pari Nizhny Novgorod” will start the new season of the Russian Cup in the RPL Way, the first stage will be divided into groups. The team from Nizhny Novgorod got into the “group of death”, where she will play against Spartak, Dynamo and Krasnodar.
RPL teams will enter the fight for the Russian Cup in early September, at the group stage they will play 6 matches each. The two best teams of each of the groups will continue to move along the RPL Path, and the teams remaining in 3 positions will go down to the Path of Regions.
