Panarin took another step towards the “eternal” Rangers record

Russian forward of the NHL club New York Rangers Artemy Panarin extended his scoring streak at home matches to 13 since the beginning of the season. In the game against Anaheim, the forward made two assists.
He assisted Chris Kreider in the 37th minute and Mika Zibanejad in the 56th minute. Both goals were scored on the power play.
Artemy is two steps away from Mike Rogers’ 40-year-old record. In 1983, he scored points in 15 consecutive home matches from the beginning of the season.
To this point, Panarin had scored a total of 41 points (16+25) in 28 games. He became the second Russian in the NHL to surpass the 40-point mark, after Nikita Kucherov, and fifth in the league.
In total, Panarin has 748 points in the NHL. That’s a clear sixth-most of any left winger in NHL history. In the 21st century, Artemy is second only to Alexander Ovechkin (875 points).
