Pamfilova: 214 ballots were spoiled due to spilled liquids and attempted arson

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova informed that due to attempts of arson and injection of various liquids at polling stations in Russia during the presidential elections, 214 ballots were spoiled.

“At 20 polling stations, we prevented all kinds of injections of liquids and 8 attempted arson attacks,” the head of the Central Election Commission said in the information center. In one case, she said, they tried to use a smoke bomb. “The approximate irrevocable number of ballots is 214,” Pamfilova clarified, adding that “mostly, of course, these are TsIPsO, their accomplices and curators.”
