Overhaul of the 1958 house completed on Krupskaya Street

A comprehensive overhaul was carried out in a house built in 1958 on Krupskaya Street in Moscow.

“Moscow is a city that has absorbed various architectural styles. And it is very important to preserve the architecture of different periods. House number 14 on Krupskaya Street is a vivid example of residential development of the 1950s. Specialists have created a unique project for carrying out work at this facility. We took into account all its features, both visual and constructive. We carefully selected materials and technologies,” said Vladimir Kozhichenkov, Deputy General Director of the FKR Moscow.

Work at the address: Krupskaya street, house 14, took place as part of the capital’s program for the overhaul of housing stock. They included overhaul of the facade, entrances and basements.

To minimize inconvenience to residents, the overhaul of the facade was divided into several stages. First, the walls of the building were cleaned of dirt and washed. After that, the brickwork was carefully restored, and the resulting cracks were sealed with a special building compound. The next step was the treatment of wet spots with antifungal protection. Further, the facade was hydrophobized.

“This advanced technology of applying an invisible film on a plane allows you to reliably protect the house from aggressive atmospheric precipitation,” explained the press service of the Capital Repair Fund of the city of Moscow.

During the repair work, special attention was paid to the balconies, which create the charm of a portrait of the house: damaged slabs were restored, floor tiles were replaced, screens and ebbs were installed.

After the workers started painting the window lintels and slopes. The external drain was replaced in the house, the basement and entrance groups were repaired. The entrances now have new doors with a convenient window, tight porches and sealing linings help to keep the heat in.

In common areas, old windows were replaced with modern plastic ones. Not only do they look good, but they also keep you warm.

The project of residential building No. 14 on Krupskaya Street was developed by the Specialized Architectural and Design Bureau. This residential building from the 50s is a striking example of the architecture of that time. Its facades have a simple plasticity, the rhythm of which is emphasized by balconies. The facade is crowned with decorative red brick belts and a protruding cornice.

In the courtyard of house 14 on Krupskaya Street there is the famous mathematical special school No. 1514. At various times, such eminent scientists as Alexander Abramov and Evgeny Berkovich taught there.

The Moscow Capital Improvement Program is one of the largest housing modernization projects not only in Russia, but in the world. The program includes more than 28,500 houses with a total area of ​​more than 275 million square meters. m, in which it is planned to repair more than 355 thousand engineering systems and structural elements of buildings and replace more than 115 thousand elevators.

To clarify the timing and types of work under the overhaul program, so-called short-term implementation plans are drawn up. The plan for 2021-2023 includes 4,437 houses in the capital with a total area of ​​34.2 million square meters. B 2023 renovation will start at 2.3 thousands of houses.
