At the same time, the procedure allowing drugs to obtain such approvals has so far been applied to eight items from the list: methylprednisolone (tablets, usually used for skin diseases, rheumatic disorders, allergies), phytomenadione (used to treat circulatory disorders), antitumor toremifene and treosulfan (lyophilisate) , ixabepilone (a chemotherapy drug), pegcetacoplan (used to treat paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria), luspatercept (used to treat anemia) and ethosuximide (capsules, an antiepileptic drug), reports Farmvestnik.

According to the publication, in 2023 the list was supplemented, in particular, with food allergens (used to diagnose allergies), bacterial allergens and five vaccines – Haemophilus influenzae type b conjugate, for the prevention of brucellosis, for the prevention of meningococcal infections, for the prevention of smallpox, for the prevention of tularemia, as well as the active ingredient of the diabetes drug Ozempic, which has ceased to be supplied to Russia.
