Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar made a statement that 721,449 tons of grain have been exported from Ukraine since the start of the work of the Joint Coordinating Center for the Transportation of Grain from Ukraine.
Akar stated that Turkey continues to make efforts to ensure that the grain continues to be delivered.
The export of Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea ports of Ukraine takes place under a “product deal” concluded on July 22 by representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN. The package of documents implies the removal of restrictions on the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets and fixes the algorithm for the safe exit of commercial ships from the Black Sea ports under the control of Ukraine along specially formed humanitarian maritime corridors.
