Over 70 firearms were seized from Alain Delon

In France, a preliminary investigation has been launched into the weapons seized from the villa of actor Alain Delon. This was announced on Tuesday, February 27, by the Montargis County Prosecutor’s Office.
District Attorney Jean-Cédric Go said that on February 22, Delon’s house was searched by order of the guardianship judge. During the search, 72 firearms and three thousand rounds of ammunition were seized.
According to reports, Delon does not have a permit to store weapons. A preliminary investigation is underway under articles of illegal storage, acquisition and possession of weapons of categories A, B and C.
In January, 88-year-old Alain Delon was recognized by the court as partially competent. In particular, he was prohibited from disposing of real estate: responsibility for such actions rests with a court-appointed representative. This decision followed the backdrop of several years of litigation between the actor’s children over the future inheritance.
In the summer of 2023, Alain Delon’s children accused his nurse of intentional violence against a vulnerable person, moral harassment, and in abusing the weakness of the ward.
