Ovechkin, Kucherov, Svechnikov and Shesterkin called up to NHL All-Star Game

Four Russians can take part in the National Hockey League All-Star Game: Alexander Ovechkin, Nikita Kucherov, Andrey Svechnikov and Igor Shesterkin. Player rosters published on site NHL.
Ovechkin (Washington), Svechnikov (Carolina) and Shesterkin (Rangers) are invited to participate in the Capital Division. Kucherov (Tampa) can play for the Atlantic division. Shesterkin was called to the NHL All-Star Game for the first time. Another 12 players will be selected via online voting (three for each division – Capital, Atlantic, Central and Pacific).
The NHL All-Star Game is a friendly tournament of the strongest active hockey players. It will take place on February 3 and 4 in Sunrise, Florida. In 2022, Andrei Vasilevsky, Evgeny Kuznetsov and Kirill Kaprizov took part in the tournament. Alexander Ovechkin also was called to participate, but did not get to the matches due to a positive test for coronavirus. Last year won team of the Capital Division, Kuznetsov scored a goal.
