Production of upholstered furniture for polyclinics and hospitals has been launched in the capital. Factory “8 March” began to make chair-beds from a special material that fully complies with sanitary and epidemiological standards and has high wear resistance. The first batch has already been delivered to one of the city’s private medical centers.
“Capital companies are involved in the process of equipping new healthcare facilities with the necessary equipment. For example, the 8 March furniture factory has developed a special line of furniture that is intended for those who care for the sick. A special mechanism is fixed not only in a sitting position, but also lying down. The company has already delivered more than 130 chair-beds from this series to one of the hospitals. In the near future, more than 500 units of various furniture will be produced, including the production of sofas for the needs of hospitals,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
The chair-bed transformation mechanism is designed for daily use, it is easy to use and has a large margin of safety. When unfolded, a bed measuring 66×200 centimeters is obtained.
According to the commercial director of the factory, Oleg Bilich, the power elements of the mechanism are made of steel and beech. Flooring with multi-layer elastic filler has orthopedic properties, providing a healthy sleep. Rest on such an armchair will be the most complete.
