Straw accessories will be produced at the capital’s hat factory. The company switched its capacities to summer mode.
“In Moscow, more than 200 enterprises are engaged in the production of fabrics, clothing, footwear and other textile accessories. Capital designers develop new collections for each season, which are in high demand among consumers,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
The Head of the Department cited the Moscow hat factory Cardinal & Margo as an example. Manufactory in summer mode will produce 500 straw hats per day. Among the novelties is a straw cap with detachable accessories.
Special presses, which are the production lines of the factory, are set up once a season. After that, they work only with a certain type of raw material. So, in winter, natural merino wool and rabbit down go, and in summer, hats are made from various types of exotic fibers.
According to the founder and designer of the brand, Olga Dolgopolova, the peculiarity of the presses is that they work only with natural materials. For the manufacture of raw materials, wheat, abacus and raffia palm leaves, cotton, flax, stems of various cereal plants, and reeds are used.
It should be noted that comfortable conditions created for business in the capital allow the development of both large and small and medium-sized enterprises. Companies can take advantage of more than 20 city support measures.
