The output of products and services in basic types of economic activity in February increased by 10.1% in annual terms, Interfax writes, citing data Rosstat. In January-February, output in basic industries increased by 7.8%.
According to Rosstat, industrial production in February increased by 8.5%, agricultural production by 0.5%. Retail trade turnover in February increased by 12.3%, wholesale trade by 19.8%. Freight transportation in February increased by 4.1%. The volume of work for the construction activity increased by 5.1%.
In February, Rosstat reported that the decline in output was 4.3%. In 2023, output for basic activities increased by 5.1%. In 2022, Rosstat recorded a decrease of 0.4%. In 2022, output from agriculture, industry, construction, transport and trade fell by 1.3% after growing by 5.9% in 2021.
