Oryol residents are preparing to take part in the mass race “Russian Ski Track”

This year, on February 10, the Oryol region will join the mass ski race “Ski Track of Russia,” which will be dedicated to an important historical event – the 80th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. The central start will take place in the Medvedevsky Forest tract on Roshchinskaya Street, 12. The press service of the regional government shared this information.
Residents of the Oryol region and beyond can take part in this event. Registration for participation in the race can already be done through State Services.
Participation is allowed for all age categories. Skiers under 17 years of age may participate only with a physician’s clearance, while participants 18 years of age or older must have a physician’s clearance or provide a personal signature acknowledging personal responsibility for their health.
Participants in the main start will have to overcome various distances, including 1 km for boys and girls born in 2012 and younger, 3 km for other age groups, and 5 km for more experienced participants.
Such events not only promote a healthy lifestyle, but also draw attention to important historical events, emphasizing their significance for modern society.
