The Oryol region team demonstrated excellent results at the All-Russian GTO festival among schoolchildren, which was held at the Artek children’s center. Eight athletes represented the region and performed successfully in two age categories.
The festival included nine tests and the “TRP Race” relay race. Athlete Milana Leonova became the star of the team, taking eighth place among 124 girls aged 14-15 years. She lacked only 24 points to take first place.
The final protocol showed that the Oryol region team took eighth place, which is the team’s best result for all its performances. This success confirms the high training of the region’s athletes and their talent in sports. The Oryol region team makes a significant contribution to the sporting prestige and development of the region.
