In Orel, at the Lenin Central Stadium, a football field is being modernized. Work must be completed by the first days of May. As Aleksey Berestov, head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, noted, the field is being prepared for the first home match of local football players. The meeting will take place on May 6, and the Orlovites plan to meet their rivals at a decent level – on an updated and modern field.
According to Berestov, the base of the field has already been prepared. Now the builders are assembling special modules, which will then cover the latest generation football field. He noted that, after the completion of the modernization of the facility, there will be three fields at the Lenin Stadium in Orel. This will increase the capacity of local sports facilities.
