At the Eurasian Championships WPA/AWPA/WPSO/WAO 2023, which took place in Moscow on October 14-15, Oryol athlete Andrei Grishin set new world records in the classic biceps curl. Grishin became the absolute champion in the classic and strict biceps curls, winning gold medals in both disciplines.
According to the results of the competition, Grishin managed to lift 82.5 kg, which allowed him to receive the “Elite” category in the classic biceps curl in the weight category up to 75 kg. Thus, he became not only the absolute champion, but also set a new world record in this discipline.
In addition, Andrei Grishin successfully competed in strict biceps curl competitions with doping control. He demonstrated high physical fitness and managed to win in this category, earning the title of absolute champion.
