Orel opened the Russian archery championship

The grand opening of the Russian archery championship took place in Orel. The venue was the shooting field of the Lenin Stadium, which is already ready to host 300 experienced athletes from 37 regions of the country.

Shortly after the start of the ceremony, guests of honor entered the arena, among whom were Vladimir Yesheev, President of the Russian Archery Federation, Alexei Berestov, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Orel Region, Dmitry Shatokhin, President of the Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Archery Federation” , Galina Shadrina, head coach of the Russian national archery team, as well as the chief referee of the competition Oleg Platonov. They gladly presented the archers with certificates and signs of masters of sports of Russia, confirming their professionalism and contribution to the development of this sport.

The Oryol region, which turned out to be the host of this large-scale event, tried to create comfortable conditions for participants and guests as much as possible by preparing a shooting field of the highest level. Thanks to this championship, Orel was able to declare itself as one of the most important centers for the development of the sports industry in the country.

The competition will continue until August 27, and now the archers are focused, ready to show their skills and abilities. Each of them strives to show the best result, win prizes and contribute to the creation of the history of Russian archery. Judging by the enthusiasm and passion with which the athletes enter the shooting range, the spectators are in for exciting and dynamic fights, as everyone strives to win.
