Orban supported Macron’s words about the cost of the conflict in Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that European countries need to think about a possible revision of the anti-Russian sanctions policy due to the costs associated with intervening in the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron expressed a similar idea, noting that the EU and the US are taking part in the Ukrainian crisis “in the name of the same principles,” but the Europeans are paying a much higher price for this.
“Macron is right: the cost of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is not the same on different sides of the Atlantic. If we want industry in Europe to survive, then we need to quickly resolve the energy crisis. It is time to rethink the sanctions,” Orban stressed.
