Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on social media that the country’s government has once again blocked a $50 billion aid package for Ukraine.
According to him, Hungary again vetoed the decision to approve long-term assistance to the Kyiv regime.
“As a result of the night meeting of the European Union summit, a veto was imposed on additional funds for Ukraine. It was decided to return to this issue next year after appropriate preparation,” Orban said.
Let us recall that earlier Hungary refrained from participating in the EU’s decision to begin the negotiation process on Kyiv’s accession to the European Union.
