The new foldable flagship was introduced by Oppo at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Find N2 Flip is the first vertical folding model from the Chinese vendor.
Among competitors, this clamshell stands out with the largest external display – 3.26 inches diagonally. In addition, engineers have chosen a vertical orientation for this screen, which is much more convenient to use. It would be great to swap it with the camera block. After all, the latter is on the right, if you close the smartphone from the unfolded state. For right-handed users, who are simply more, this is inconvenient. You have to flip the fold out.
The Find N2 Flip’s main foldable AMOLED panel reaches a respectable 6.8 inches. It boasts a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, HDR10+ support, and a brightness of 1600 nits. The external screen can update the picture no faster than 60 times per second. The Dimensity 9000+ chipset is on board. Also, the developers have provided three memory configurations: 8 + 256 GB, 12 + 256 GB and 16 + 512 GB. The 4300 mAh battery supports proprietary SuperVOOC fast charging. The kit comes with an appropriate adapter with a power of 44W.
There are two sensors in the main camera unit: Sony IMX890 at 50 megapixels and Sony IMX355 at 8 megapixels with a wide viewing angle of 112 degrees. The resolution of the selfie camera on the internal display is 32 megapixels. The proprietary MariSilicon X neural processor is responsible for processing images and videos. Together with it, the Hasselblad image processing system works on the quality of photos in the Find N2 Flip.
In addition to the debut clamshell phone, Oppo showed the flagship Find N2, accessories for these smartphones, as well as its first Wi-Fi router, the Zero-Power Tag tracker, the MariSilicon Y audio chip, the OHealth H1 family health monitoring device, augmented glasses the reality of Oppo Air Glass 2 and a few more technological developments.
