The first part of the 2023-2024 season was not the best for Ivanovo Tekstilshchik. The red-blacks expected to fight for the highest places and reach the “Golden” division, but the reality turned out to be completely different. Tekstilshchik performed at an average level and often lost points in matches with competitors and weaker teams. Based on the results of 18 matches played, Tekstilshchik took only 5th place, losing a ticket to the Golden Division to representatives of FC Chelyabinsk.
If Tekstilshchik did not play the best against its competitors, it tuned in to the leaders and often took points. The matches against Novosibirsk turned out to be exemplary, which in the end became the best team in the Silver division. Ivanovsky “Textilshchik” became the only team in the “Silver” division to score 4 points in 2 matches against “Novosibirsk”. The red-blacks played a draw at home with Novosibirsk, and won away with a score of 2:0.
Let us remind you that in the spring of 2024, Tekstilshchik will have another chance to enter the Golden Division to compete for the First League.
