Only Russian cars will be assigned to State Duma deputies in the regions

Deputies in constituencies will be assigned only domestic cars, informed State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin in his Telegram channel.

“We discussed with the leaders of the factions the issue of assigning only cars produced in our country to deputies in constituencies. Everyone supported this decision,” he wrote.

This issue will be considered at the next meeting of the State Duma Council on September 18. In addition, the deputies discussed with the Presidential Administration the provision of the State Duma with official vehicles. It was decided that “as the cars are retired, only domestic brands will be replaced,” Volodin added. Such an approach, he believes, will help the development of the domestic auto industry, while budget funds will remain in Russia.
