Only every second Russian considers himself a professional in his field

Almost every second Russian (48%) rates their professional level as five out of five, showed survey job and personnel search services “Rabota.ru” and automation of selection and processing of resumes “SberPodbor”. The rest turned out to be more modest. Among those who gave themselves 1 or 2 points, the main argument was the lack of experience and short length of service in the profession. Those who rate themselves 3 points or higher also put their professional experience in first place. Many noted that their colleagues consult with them, they are praised by their superiors and clients, they are constantly learning and have implemented many projects.

It is noteworthy that representatives of different fields assess their skills and professionalism differently. For example, the average score of IT specialists is 3.94, and that of medical specialists is 4.48.
