Only 9% of Pskov residents go in for physical education on their own – statistics

On average, 9% of Pskov residents go in for physical education on their own. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of Pskovstat.
It was possible to form such an idea of the commitment of the inhabitants of the region to a healthy lifestyle based on a sample observation of the health status of the population in 2022.
Differences in the percentage of those who are engaged in physical education on their own depend on gender. Thus, among men, there are more adherents of self-improvement of physical form than among women – 9.5% and 9.3%, respectively.
In an organized way, as part of circles, sections and clubs, 4.9% of men and 4.7% of women improve their physical form.
