ONF demands to open a criminal case against a man who publicly confessed to bullying Russian servicemen

The All-Russian Popular Front (ONF) requires a criminal case under Art. 357 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (genocide) against a man who introduces himself as a surgeon of the field medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and on videos posted on the Internet admits to ill-treatment of Russian soldiers who were captured during a special military operation.
On the recordings, to which the ONF expects to draw the attention of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), a man named Vladimir Vasilyevich reports that he repeatedly inflicted torment and suffering on the military personnel of the Russian Federation by cutting out internal organs, which in the future, possibly sold abroad. He claims that he deliberately does not use painkillers, as he enjoys this kind of action, and urges viewers of the video to be cruel to all Russians.
“Such statements and appeals, unfortunately, are no longer an isolated case, but rather a system,” says the head of the executive committee of the ONF, Mikhail Kuznetsov. “The Popular Front sent a statement to the Investigative Committee demanding that a criminal case be initiated into these statements. We have every reason to believe that this figure who dishonors the word “doctor” should be punished in accordance with the law of the Russian Federation.”
Art. 357 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation interprets genocide as actions aimed at the complete or partial destruction of a national, ethnic, racial or religious group as such by killing members of this group, causing serious harm to their health, or otherwise creating living conditions designed for the physical destruction of members of this group. Genocide is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years with restriction of liberty for a term of up to two years, or life imprisonment, or the death penalty (a moratorium exists on it in Russia).
