27.5 thousand educational materials – so many lesson scenarios, interactive applications, tutorials, video consultations, self-diagnostics were uploaded this summer to the Moscow e-school. In total, the MES library contains about 1.7 million educational materials, the authors of which are 34,000 metropolitan teachers.

On the eve of the new academic year, I would like to talk about the “fresh” services of the Moscow Electronic School, which have appeared in it recently or are about to appear. One of the recent services has become the “Student Portfolio”. It allows you to collect in the student’s personal account information about all his achievements, both educational and sports, cultural, creative. Universities will be able to take into account such a portfolio when enrolling applicants, accruing additional points for certain achievements.

From this academic year, more than 200 electronic “Workbooks” in 16 subjects of the school curriculum for grades 5-11 will be available in the MES library. Students will use such notebooks for self-diagnosis, as well as in preparation for tests and tests. To quickly check whether the task is completed correctly, the service will have an auto-check function.

Another fairly new MES service is called Planned Learning Outcomes. Last year, he operated in a pilot mode for fifth grade students. And he allowed the teacher to give the student tasks – from simple to complex, so that both the child himself and his parents understood how the material was perceived, and could also see the progress of the student in a particular topic. It is expected that this year this service will become available to students in grades 6-9.

Another self-diagnostic service will be called “thematic assessment”. It will allow you to track the average scores of students for each topic they study. And it will help teachers to understand which sections the student has learned well, and where there are gaps. By the way, in the near future it is planned to launch the MES Journal mobile application. Teachers will be able to enter data on the progress of each student and comment on each grade directly from their mobile device.

Another novelty of the MES is the opportunity to subscribe to one of the interesting authors. And there are 34,000 of them. This will make it easier for teachers to filter the material they need, and for students to search for information on specific topics.

A little about the most popular lessons in MES.

According to statistics, the most popular of the 12,000 video lessons was a volleyball lesson. It was prepared by the teacher of school No. 1980 Oleg Andriyanov.
Among primary school students, the video lesson in physical education “How to pass the TRP standards for schoolchildren”, developed by the teacher of school No. 1512 Dmitry Velikopolsky, is quite popular. Almost 13 thousand views scored the script for a lesson on Python informatics. Lists, developed by Alexey Kamalin, teacher of engineering school No. 1581.

Among self-diagnostics, and there are more than 6,000 of them at the MES, tests in physics and chemistry are the most popular among high school students, and mathematics is most popular among younger students.
