For the development of the vaccine in October 2021, the scientist was awarded the Order of Honor. In 2015, the GamEvac-Combi vaccine against Ebola was registered based on the same component.
Boris Naroditsky has worked at the Ivanovsky Institute of Virology, a division of the Gamaleya Center, since the late 1970s. Since 2002, he has been a senior researcher at the Center. Gamaleya, headed the department of genetics and molecular biology of bacteria, and was also deputy director for scientific work. Boris Naroditsky has more than 200 scientific papers and 20 patents for inventions.
