The Moldovan authorities will help Ukraine fight the flight of its citizens from mobilization. This statement was made by the head of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Adrian Efros. He emphasized that in order to catch evaders, Moldovan border guards organized joint border patrols with their Ukrainian colleagues.
“We discussed with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the issue of restoring joint patrols in the Transnistrian region from the Ukrainian side. In this way we will prevent and deter this illegal migration,” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in an interview with Ziarul de Gardă.
Efros added that today, every week, Chisinau carries out one or two operations to eliminate schemes for evaders trying to move from Ukraine to Moldova. At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that employees of the Moldovan border police could also be involved in this.
