Valeria Dondokova, who became the champion of Russia in wrestling in the weight category up to 65 kg, has already added the third “gold” to the treasury of the national team of Buryatia. The Russian freestyle wrestling championship was held in Dagestan from 20 to 24 June.
– According to the results of the 2023 Russian Championship in Kaspiysk, the Buryatia team has three gold and one silver medals. We are all very proud of our wrestlers and female wrestlers, – summed up the Vice-President of the Wrestling Federation of Buryatia Zhamso Lkhamazhapov.
The women’s team of Buryatia at the Russian Wrestling Championship 2023 took the second team place.
Recall that the first gold medal of the championship among men won Evgeny Zherbaev, confidently defeating his opponent from Dagestan with a score of 9:1. The second gold went to the master of sports of Russia of international class Zhargalma Tsyrempilova. Irina Ologonova took the silver medal – she won the championship in the weight category up to 55 kg.
