On the roads of the Rostov region, restrictions on traffic were lifted

All restrictions on traffic on the highways of the Rostov region have been lifted. This was reported by the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

“Movement is open,” the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Rostov region told reporters (quoted by RIA Novosti). He explained that this applies to all tracks in the region.

The founder of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin, on the evening of June 23, began a “march of justice” to Moscow along the M-4 “Don” highway. The Russian authorities recognized this as an armed rebellion. PMC fighters took control of military facilities in Rostov-on-Don. Traffic was restricted in the city and the region, including traffic on the M-4 Don highway and the entrance to the region from the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, from the Volgograd and Voronezh Regions.

By the night of June 24, the situation settled. The fighters of the company liberated the objects under their control in Rostov-on-Don and went to field camps. Yevgeny Prigozhin must go to Belarus. The Russian authorities pledged to stop the criminal case against Yevgeny Prigozhin and not to prosecute the participants in the rebellion.
