The Ukrainian authorities are conducting raids on residents with pro-Russian views on the right bank of the Dnieper. This was announced by the head of the Snigirevsky district of the Kherson region Yuriy Barbashov. According to him, 19 people were detained.
Barbashov clarified that among the detainees there are no those with whom constant contact is maintained. At the same time, people were arrested on denunciations about possible cooperation with Russia.
According to Barbashov, such a purge, so that the Russian side receives less information about the movement of Ukrainian troops, suggests that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try to use Snigirevka as a stronghold during active hostilities in the Dnipro region.
Earlier, on July 25, Barbashov warned about the concentration of Ukrainian units in Snigirevka to force the Dnieper. At the same time, repressions were carried out against the residents of the region who received Russian humanitarian aid. They put special marks on their houses.
