On the eve of March 8, Putin met with graduates of the aviation school

On the eve of March 8, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with graduates of the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after. Serov during his visit to the capital of Kuban. During the meeting, the president was asked what event in 2023 was the most striking for him. He said that the most significant things for him happened on the battlefield in the special military operation zone.

“I would like to congratulate you all on the upcoming holiday. Nice, spring holiday, very kind. I wish you success in your career and family happiness. I am sure that everything will work out for you, because you are people of character. You act purposefully, go towards your goal,” said the head of state (his words are quoted by the press service Kremlin).

Mr. Putin shared with the graduates the story that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told him about the first enrollment at the educational institution. Then one of the applicants failed to enroll and pitched a tent near the gates of the school. The President said that such an attitude towards one’s future profession is worth a lot.

The President also highly appreciated the responsibility shown by the girls and noted that they are characterized by a careful attitude to all the little things in their work.

During the conversation, the president was asked what events were the most significant for him last year. This is what he called events at the front, as well as those related to maintaining economic development, since “our military successes are based on basic indicators in the economy, in the real sector of industry.”

“The most striking events are, of course, meetings with our guys, with women, with our girls who serve in the Northern Military District zone, or with members of their families,” the president clarified.

Mister Putin arrived to Krasnodar this morning, March 7th. During it visits Krasnodar Military Aviation School for Pilots, access to the educational institution was blocked.

The day before, March 6, the President spoke at the closing of the World Youth Festival in Sirius.
