The Russian Deaf Sports Championship will be held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk from February 17 to 19. About it reports Government of the Sakhalin region.

Snowboarders from seven regions of the country will come to the sporting event.

“More than 40 athletes representing Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Sakhalin Region will take part in the competition,” the statement says.

The competition will take place at the Mountain Air sports complex. On the first day of the tournament, snowboarders will show their skills in parallel giant slalom. On February 18, athletes will compete in parallel slalom, and on February 19 – in snowboard cross.
