This is a common sanitary measure for the protection of livestock in large enterprises. All owners are required to hand over the bird for disposal. In the future, they will receive compensation in the amount of the market value of the bird in live weight, ”Roza Kuzmenko, head of the agency for veterinary medicine and livestock breeding in the Sakhalin Region, told Kommersant.
