Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he discussed with the leadership of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the situation on one of the sectors of the front in the zone of the military operation in Ukraine. According to him, difficulties in this sector of the front arose due to UAVs.

“Just this morning I spoke with the General Staff: in one of the areas, of course, the complexity of the situation is connected precisely with unmanned aerial vehicles,” the president said in Tula during a meeting with participants in the “Everything for Victory!” forum. The head of state did not specify in which direction and section of the front the problem arose due to drones.

Vladimir Putin also instructed Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov to substantively engage in the implementation of Russian developments in the field of microelectronics to suppress drones. According to him, it is very important to use these developments as part of military operations in Ukraine.

Mr. Putin, during his trip to Tula, in addition to participating in the forum “Everything for Victory!” will communicate with participants of the All-Russian Popular Front. In addition, the president will come to a local cancer center. According to the press secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, the president will hold a meeting on the construction of new cancer centers throughout the country.
